TRC Automatic Banding Machine
The TRC series allows fully automated bundling and banding in a ‘corner’ set-up. Thanks to the corner, the supplied product is rotated 90 degrees to get in the correct position for the banding arch.
Maximum performances
The Bandall TRC can easily be expanded with printers that print during the banding process. The TRC also has multi-banding capabilities, if necessary. An optional length measurement of products makes it possible to band a mix of products with different dimensions.
From corner to arch
The Bandall TRC is a perfect solution when your products have to make a quarter turn to achieve the correct orientation towards the banding arch. A Servo-driven pusher takes the products from the corner and pushes them towards the arch. Using stoppers and sensor technology, the products are guided accurately through the banding arch for perfect banding. This can be a big advantage for labels or stacks of printed matter, which are laid out neat and tight in the corner.

How the Bandall TRC works
Products arrive on the driven infeed conveyor and are stopped in a fixed position by a pneumatic stopper. A servo-driven linear pusher then places each product into the banding arch at a 90-degree angle, at a precise and programmable speed. The right-angle turn squares stacks of labels, printed matter or paper immediately, so every bundle leaves the machine neat and aligned on the free-rolling roller outfeed conveyor.
Because the product changes direction inside the machine, the TRC is the natural choice when your line arrives from the side or when the product has to be re-oriented before banding. The TRC exchanges signals with the machines before and after it, so it fits into an existing fully automatic line without an operator.

Options include a full stainless steel version (with stainless steel bearings), automatic product length measurement so randomly presented products of different lengths are banded without delay, 600 mm driven roller or food grade conveyors, a press, a mobile frame and printers for dates, barcodes and serial numbers while banding. Like every Bandall machine, the TRC is 100% Dutch designed, engineered and manufactured.

Frequently asked questions
How fast is the Bandall TRC?
The TRC applies 18 to 25 bands per minute. The exact speed depends on the product size and the band.
What is the difference between the TRC 320 and the TRC 480?
The size of the product. The TRC 320 handles products up to 150 mm high and 310 mm wide, the TRC 480 up to 250 mm high and 470 mm wide.
Can the TRC print on the band?
Yes. A printer can be added to print dates, batch numbers, barcodes or serial numbers on the band during banding.
Can I test the TRC with my own product?
