Protection due to our unique vacuum technology
With the unique vacuum feed system that our machines use, the corners and edges of your product are well protected. This way you are always ensured of perfect bundles, no matter the size. To guarantee stability, you can choose to use multiple bands parallel or cross banding.
Always the right tension
The band tension can be accurately adjusted, taking into account how fragile your product is. This way, the band always has the correct tension around your products. From loose to very tight, the tension is always perfectly adjusted to your products.
Product bundling without shrink film
Product bundling with a band means holding two or more units together with a narrow strip of paper or film, rather than wrapping them in shrink. The band does the same job with a fraction of the material and without a heat tunnel, so there is no oven, no warm-up time and no energy cost per pack.
The difference shows on the shelf as well as in the plant. A shrink-wrapped multipack hides the product behind a layer of plastic. A band leaves the packs visible and gives you a clean printed surface exactly where the shopper is looking.
Tension you can set for the product
Band tension is adjustable across the full range, from loose enough for a stack of pastry boxes to tight enough for timber or metal profiles. The vacuum feed system guides the band around the pack without dragging across corners and edges, which is where shrink and strapping tend to leave marks.
For bundles that travel or get stacked, you can run two parallel bands or cross-band at ninety degrees. Cross banding adds rigidity to loads that would otherwise need an outer carton.
Where bundling with a band fits
Printed matter, luxury and cosmetic packaging, security documents, in-mould labels, trays, flow packs, blister packs, timber, profiles and industrial parts all bundle well with a band. If the product has a flat face, a band will hold it.
