An unprinted band is the low cost option for the jobs where the pack needs holding, not branding. Internal bundles, transit packs, work-in-progress stacks and anything that will be opened before it reaches a customer.

Plain paper and clear film are both available across the full width range, and because there is no print setup there is no minimum order tied to artwork. You order a roll, not a print run.

An unprinted band is also the starting point for inline printing. The roll stays blank and the integrated printer adds whatever the pack needs at the moment of banding, which is the most flexible setup for operations where the data changes every batch.

For anything customer-facing, a printed band does more for the same pass through the machine.

If the pack goes to a customer, look at printed bands. If you only need to decide on the material itself, start with paper or film.
