Logistics banding in the warehouse
Logistics banding turns loose cases into one handling unit at the point of despatch. Instead of a carton or a pallet wrap for a small mixed order, the bundle leaves as it is, banded and marked.
The band is the paperwork. Route code, drop number, customer reference and a barcode print onto it during banding, so the bundle is identified without a separate label step. For value-added services teams in a 3PL, that removes a print-and-apply station from the line.

Banding in E-commerce
