Why banding works for butter promotion packs

Promotional multipacks, such as sets of 5 or 10 butter packs, need to be held together firmly, carry the promotion message and reach the shelf quickly. A Bandall machine wraps a narrow paper or film band around the group, tensions it and seals it in one movement. There is no heat tunnel, so the butter is not exposed to heat during packing, and the original packs stay unchanged.

• Printed band: the band can be pre-printed with the brand and the promotion, so no extra sleeve or carton is needed.
• Data on the band: dates, batch numbers and barcodes can be printed on the band during banding.
• Film or paper: film bands resist moisture and chilling; paper bands are recyclable with paper.
